A miracle named Sophie

I was able to fly to Arizona with Whitney where Jenn lives to see my new little niece Sophie. If any of you have heard about how darling she is, she is even more precious in person. She really is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen and she melted my heart from the first moment I saw her. She is just so angelic. It brings tears to my eyes right now just thinking about her! It was so fun to have that time with Jenn, my mom, and Whitney. The week flew by just like we knew it would, but the memories we made are timeless. I love you Jenn, you are a wonderful mother and example and I am so grateful for such a miracle that graced our family with her presence.

This really sums up the week...just snuggling Sophie and us girls talking(however, I never had makeup on, so on the rare occasion we did get ready, I thought I better take a picture then!)
My favorite snuggling position ever- how precious is she?

Matt and Jenn have the most amazing genes together! Their kids are adorable.
We got to have a girls night out with dinner and a movie. The dinner? Mexican of course! The movie? Both of them chick flicks!
What a perfect sight to behold
Connor is the cutest little boy. He made me laugh constantly with all of his ninja moves, his darling personality, and the way he says things.

It was so cute because Sadie came in while I was getting ready and while I did my makeup, she did my hair. She would just twist my hair and wrap it with ribbons! It totally melted my heart.

I have always adored Sadie starting when Jenn was carrying her. It was before I had any of my own, so any extra money I had I just wanted to spend it on her, and then when she was born, I was able to be with her constantly when Jenn and I lived home in I.F. (ahh, those were the days...)

how special! I am so happy that you got to go be with Jenn, like you said, that time will be such a special memory for all of you there. I love the no-makeup weeks, it makes your whole time there so relaxing. I am so sad i missed out...seemed like a real girls week, with the juicy pops and chick flicks...both my fave! Love you so much and miss you so much! love, rebekah

Jess these are the most precious pictures. She is so beautiful. I can't wait to see her. I can't imagine how fun that would have been. I love how close you are. I was so sad that I wasn't home when you called to meet before your flight. We were in Island Park. That would have been so fun. Love you Jess!! You're amazing.

Thanks for that post. It was so sweet that it made me bawl. My emotional breakdowns are getting a little out of hand!! Thanks for all of the nice things you said about my little family. Connor and Sadie talked about you all week, and were so proud of the attention you gave them. It was so fun to spend that special time together and all of the things we were able to do. I really treasure that week and the effort you made for me. I love you so much and I will do my post as soon as I get that CD! Love you.

She is adorable! I hope you had a good vacation! It is the best just snuggling with teeny little babies... I love holding them up on my chest like that too. That's the best!

It looks like you had so much fun with just the girls. Thank goodness for great husbands that let us get away every once in a while. Glad to have you back here in Florida.

Jess -- What a sweet post. That first picture when you are snuggling . . . it looks like she is smiling! She is so darling. What a special week together. Sisters flying together. Such trueness. Jenn's kids are so darling and you are so true to bond and appreciate their little nuances. You are so true and sweet about every little thing. AND YOU CUT YOUR HAIR!! It looks so good. Love you, Jess.
