On the 29th of December Brod and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary! I can't believe it has come this fast and I thought I would write my top 8 favorite things about the love of my life:
1. He is absolutely hilarious. He is constantly making me laugh. Anyone that knows him knows exactly what I'm talking about. When we lived in Rexburg, we lived so close to our neighbors. One day I asked them if we were too loud and they said, "The only thing we ever hear is you laughing."
2. He has such a tender heart. This is one of the first things that I noticed about him and it is a quality that has blessed Alexia, Audrey and me so much. He handles us with such care and that quality has also blessed his patients at school. He truly cares about other's well being and if there is any way he can make situations better, he will. This quality has also made him an even more incredible priesthood holder. He handles spiritual things with such sacredness and delivers lessons and blessing with such tenderness.
3. His determination has ALWAYS amazed me. Once he puts his mind to something, he really won't let anything stand in his way. There are goals that I have seen him accomplish that I thought were totally impossible. Coupled with his self-discipline I know that he will always be successful.
4. Brod loves "his girls" more than anything else in his life. What means even more to me, is that all 3 of us know that.
5. He is my best friend. I can literally tell him anything and he will just listen. If it's a conversation in which I need advice, he will give it to me, but if it's a time that I need to just "go it" he will listen and depending on what it is, he will go it with me!
6. In my eyes, he is a genius. What he learns and understands is completely beyond me. There really isn't anything that would be too hard or complicated to learn for him.
7. I know that this quality goes without saying because I know that every wife feels this way about their husbands, but he is the most handsome man I have ever seen. There are times that I look at him that my heart literally skips a beat. He just keeps getting more and more handsome and you can guarantee that I will be in charge of the hiring for his office staff. :) I'm constantly wondering how I got someone like him.
8. He is such an amazing dad. He loves to be there for Alexia and Audrey. He will re-arrange his school schedule just to be there at the doctor's office with them. Whether they are getting their ears pierced, or the first day of ballet, or a primary talk, etc. he makes sure he is there. I have always been able to see that those 2 little girls will have the most supportive dad they could ask for. (I really can't even imagine how he will be if he ever gets his boy!)

2002: Salt Lake Winter Olympics
2003: Expecting our first baby
2004: We add our sweet Alexia to our little family
2005: Audrey comes to our family and we start our first year of dental school in Ft. Lauderdale
2006: Our second honeymoon in Laguna Beach, California (thanks to Wheel of Fortune:) )
2007: Our Valentine's Day dinner cruise through the waterways of Ft. Lauderdale
2008: Our last year of dental school and excited to see what 2009 will bring. Happy Anniversary sweetheart- you really are my dream come true.

Hey Jess! Wow, I seriously can't believe it has been 8 years already. It has gone by so fast. I know I always say it but I still will never forget me telling Brody that he would beat Kevin home from his mission. He was so in love even back then. But, as dad would say, "You both are so lucky". I love and miss you!
Hey guys! It's so great to catch up with you. John was so excited to chat with Brodie and see how you were all doing. Your girls are ADORABLE! As if there would be any question to that!=) Good luck with the rest of your year. Maybe we will catch you in Idaho some time! Take care!

Jess -- Your post made me laugh and then cry! I laughed so hard at the neighbor comment and it made me emotional to just feel how much you deeply love him. Such a walk through memory lane -- it was so fun. I have never seen that MORP picture and I laughed again! Those high school pictures are so hilarious. He adored you then, I know and even more so now. Even though I haven't been around you two as a couple, I hear what a perfect match you are. You are raising such a darling family. Congratulations on 8 years! I love you.
Jess that post was so sweet! You are Brod are just perfect for each other and he is very blessed to have you too! Just look at the amazing things you said about him- you are an unreal wife and that's why you're perfect for each other! You just compliment each other so well! I still remember just hoping so much that you would get together with Brodie and I even kept his little mission picture in my purse! That was so fun to read, Jess! You truly are both so lucky to have each other. I loved the year by year-so many important things happen in such a short time. And time goes by so fast! We are on the same year cycle...so I'll always know your anniversary!
