Our new adventure!

We just found out that Brod got accepted into an AEGD residency in the University of New Mexico! So we will be moving to Albuquerque in the middle of June. The feeling is definitely bittersweet because we are excited for a new adventure and how much further advanced Brodie will be in his career, but, sad to know how soon our Fort Lauderdale chapter that we haved loved so much will be closed. I'm so proud of Brod and excited to move forward in our new adventure together! Here are a few reasons that I am getting so excited:

Sandia Mountains in New Mexico: Back in the mountains again!

Albuquerque temple: being close to a temple again!
MEXICAN RESTAURANTS all over the place!
SONIC!: I have been 4 years without my favorite drinks and now I will have several to choose from!! :)
Back into the west, which means so much closer to home!

How exciting for ya'll! I was loving looking at your last post and checking out your old dance pictures of you and your man. Were you guys high school sweet hearts? To answer your question about how my husband and I met, it was a blind date. I was in Seattle working for the Seahawks and they had a bye weekend so I went to Utah to visit some friends. I ended up having 5 blind dates that weekend, and Philip was number 4. The rest is history....
I can't believe how old and beautiful your sisters and bros are?!? Are your parents still on good ol' Marlene st?

Congratulations! It will definitly be a change from Florida that's for sure.:0) So, you'll never guess what happened tonight at a super bowl party we were at. We discovered that our friends know Brody from dental school! Ask him is he remembers Rob Bowman. They moved up here to Charlotte last April. He said Brody was a year behind him in school. Talk about a small world huh?! I figured there weren't that many dental schools in Ft. Lauderdale, so I asked. Anyway, your family is adorable and I'm happy that you guys get to move that much closer to your family on the west coast. Good Luck with the move!

I'm just going to have to take some roadtrips down South!! Congrats! Brodie is so amazing. Can you please find me someone just like him??
