Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving was perfectly simple. There were many different "student get-togethers" but we chose to have our own little Thanksgiving with our little family. It seems everything was little about it...even the Turkey! Brod came carrying it from the meat section and I did my little scream giggle (I'm trusting you know what I mean, because that could sound real scary) because it was so tiny. It melted my heart that in this stage of our lives across the country from any family it would just be us four sitting around our table for Thanksgiving. The day started out so exciting because Brod went to an early morning sale and came home with little treasures. Alexia was so anxious to help in the kitchen because she got a little apron that had her name on it, so she felt really official and qualified. It was such a special family day that tightened the bond a little more. We all said what we were thankful for during our dinner and it reminded me how we could never list all of our blessings. When it comes to the gospel and family, the blessings never end.

Hello Jess, Holidays with family is priceless even if it is just four of you. I love the pictures because it includes four of my favorite subjects. What such great parents you and Brodie are creating these wonderful holiday memories. Keep up the good work. Love Colette
