Best Sisters, Best Friends

I walked into the family room and saw Alexia and Audrey snuggled up together watching a movie and it completely melted my heart, so of course I had to capture! I have always wanted 2 little girls together because there is nothing more special than sisters. I remember when I had my ultrasound and the doctor told me that Alexia would have a little sister-- I just started to cry. I immediately thought of my own sisters and felt so grateful that Alexia would have those same relationships that last forever. The older Audrey has gotten, the funner it has been watching her and Lex together. They literally are best friends. They don't want to go anywhere without eachother, starting when I would be out in the hall in church with Audrey, and she would crawl to the nursery door and pat on it, and just sit outside the door because she knew Lex was in there. The other day Audrey was looking through a book and saw 2 girls and said, "they are best friends, just like me and sister!" My favorite thing is to watch them together when they are in their own little worlds. They will just laugh and laugh (Audrey thinks Alexia is so funny) and use words like "honey"and "sweetheart" when they play pretend. So whenever they are sweet to eachother I always say, "best sisters, best freinds". I'm so grateful that I have "my girls" and they make my everyday life so fulfilling and complete with all of the heart melting moments throughout my day.

Oh man, talk about a trigger. It really is the sweetest thing. Those little hands, and I am so emotional anyway. That was just really sweet and those girls look so angelic on that couch together. So darling. Love you!

Oh my gosh- that made me want to bawl. :) I saw that they were sitting so close and cute together on the couch, and then I saw those little hands intertwined and it really did melt my heart. Those pictures are priceless and really do show their little relationship. They look so precious and angelic like Jenn said. You are amazing- I love you. Krys

Jessica -- Those are the most tender pictures I have ever seen! I love how close they are. My favorite was the close up of their little clasped hands. So fun that they are so close and loving to each other. I would give anything to find Elle & Addie like that. Elle is just selfish with her toys and Addie adores her. Seems like we never have tender moments like that. How do you foster it? Teach Me Please! They are probably just mimicking their mother with sweetness and mine are probably mimicking me (O.K. you freakin psycho -- Carter age 2). You are such a sweet mother. Love you, Jess.

Hi Brody & Family,

I hope you don't mind me visiting your blog. I have been keeping in touch with Boone and he sent Matt to my blog and now I am visiting yours! Your wife and daughters are just gorgeous! My sisters and I watched you both on Wheel of Fortune and had a great time! Natalie just had her first baby and all is well; especially since she is finally married to a good guy!

Take care,
