For the past few weeks I have been so sick with an upper respiratory infection, bronchitis, and a sinus infection. The doctor said that they were all very severe, so he put me on augmenten for 10 days. It proved how bad my infections really were, because after the 10 days, I still wasn't better. So when I went back to the doctor for another and different antibiotic he asked me if it would be possible that I could rest, like take off a couple days of work. I just laughed. "No, Dr. that isn't possible." :) He then understood when I said that I have 2 little kids at home with a husband always gone in dental school and NO family around. So I am finally feeling better, but nothing makes me more homesick than when I am sick. I've always said that there are times when I can actually feel the thousands of miles separating me from my family, and the past few weeks have been no exception. So, I just wanted to post some of my favorite pictures from our summer in Idaho. To my trues: I love you and miss you desperately. (I'm actually tearing up just writing it)
Playing mafia...and as always, having a blast just being together
We love Whitney! It was so fun being there for her when she made the volleyball team!
Dallin is so darling with all of the grandkids, and we are SO proud of him and his new mission call to Manchester, England!
Our family at the Columbia River temple where Brodie's brother Blake got married
The grounds were so pretty and it was so special being there with Brod's family
Then there's the Idaho Falls temple which will always mean the most to me!
One of the things I miss the most...
Lunch with my dad- we always have the most amazing conversations!
This is when Atwoods brought the girls back to I.F. after having them for the weekend in Arco. They are definetely ADORED by the girls! (And me!)
Baby Bridger!! He's not even a baby anymore! Now he's just a saucy bug!
We took the chairlifts up Grand Targhee- it was such a serendipity day
Teton Springs is beautiful and being there with my family made it even prettier
Lex LOVES her Aunt Whitney
Grandpa Peterson helping Lex feed the goats at good old Tautphus Park Zoo!
I loved how she just had her little hand on his
Just wanting to be like Uncle Ben! (Now serving in the Taipai, Taiwan mission)

I am so glad that you are finally feeling better- it just sounded like an absolute nightmare and I felt so bad because there is nothing worse than being sick (and I have never even had some of the things you did)! It's so hard that you live so far away because I would have been there in a second to help take the girls so you could sleep. It was fun seeing those pictures though- they are all so darling. You look so pretty in every one of them! I love the one of your little family in front of the temple- IT'S SO PRETTY! I love you Jess- I'm predicting that this week will definitely be a FUN one for you :) LOVE KRYS
jess- I had no idea that you were sick... Doug probably just left me out of the loop:( Anyways, I am glad that you are feeling better now. That post was so sweet.. that mafia is so fun to play... such great memories in all of your pictures. Doug and I are trying to maneuver a way to come see you in florida, it would be both Doug's and My dream! I love you!

I'm sorry that you were so sick for so long. I'm so glad that Dal can be there to make it a little easier for you. I'm glad that you're feeling better- the pictures are so cute. You look so pretty- of course. Love you, Jenn
Jess...I'm so sorry that you were so sick. What a nightmare!! Nothing is worse than being sick with no buffers. 10 days?? Ugh. There really isn't any way that can take time off with kids--especially when you don't have family near. I wish so bad that I could have helped--or at least known so I could have sent you flowers. We hurt. We need to talk asap. I miss you. Love you so much--you're amazing.
I had no idea you were so sick! We really need to talk more! So happy to hear you're doing better. It's so hard to be so far away!! Those pictures were so fun that you posted. How happy are you that you only have one year left? Are you planning on moving to Idaho? Like I said..we really need to talk and catch up. Or at least email. I hope you know how much I love you and miss you!
Jess -- I am so sorry that you have been so sick. I can't even imagine how hard to be alone and have the kids just crawling on you with no one to help. (Crawling is the sickest reference --- I just know when I'm trying to rest and they jump on the bed and open your eyes it is unbelieveable). Your pictures are adorable and nothing makes you more homesick than looking at pictures of the trues in your life. Such a blessing that you have so many. Just too bad they are so far away right now. One year left and you'll be close to everyone. Love you and so happy you are feeling better.
