Every year in Arco they have Atomic Days where there is breakfast in the park, a parade, festivities in the park, and it ends that night with a rodeo. It was a really fun day but we wish Brod could have been with us! (He comes soon though) The girls had a blast and my sister Whitney was able to come with me which made the day that much more special.
My sis Whitney with Alexia and Audrey playing in the park
Whitney and I shopped around at all of the little booths in the park and had a blast
The parade was so fun, the girls especially liked them passing out popsicles!
Grandma and Grandpa Atwood with the girls helping them gather candy
Audrey loves her "pa pa"
Taking a "snow cone break" at the park
We had a little picnic back at Atwood's house and Whit and I just enjoyed being outside together on such a pretty day...(in such a pretty yard!)

The group waiting for the rodeo to start

During the rodeo, they had an intermission where they had the little kids participate in a stick pony race, and Audrey was up first in her age group!

And she won!!

Alexia was the youngest in her age group and also had so much fun!!

Whitney and me on our way to get some cotton candy

After the rodeo, a cowboy came over for the girls to pet his horse and Audrey not only wanted to pet it, but share her sucker!

She got the horse's attention, and he really did take a lick! It was hilarious!

Okay, I'm a secret, silent lurker on your blog. I don't know why I don't post comments...maybe I feel so weird about commenting randomly when what I really want to do is spend a long weekend with you catching up on all that's gone on in our lives! Will you call me sometime? Preferably after 8 or 9 when our little master is in bed? 480.202.2585 Your Idaho trip sounds so fun...we were just up there last week. I'll die if we missed each other while in the same state!
