I was able to come to Idaho for my brother Dallin's mission farewell and be with my family. I have had so much fun (which explains the long absence from the blogging world) so I better start displaying my time here because there is so much that I want to document and capture!
Leaving Fort Lauderdale I got to watch the sunrise- it was amazing
Waiting for our next flight, Alexia kept busy by taking pictures with my camera and I LOVED how it captured how long Audrey's eyelashes are!
This picture could make me bawl every time I see it, but Dal came and picked me up in Blackfoot, and I'll give you one guess where our first stop was!
The girls at Dal's setting apart- it was so spiritual, but so sad as Dal's leaving became so real
I miss him so much. He's going to be the perfect missionary and anyone that knows him knows exactly what I mean!
Rebekah with my girls!
Oh my gosh, there was a night that Krys, Rebekah and I were at Walmart and when we got home there were other things we forgot to get, so we started laughing about going back that late (like 12:30am), so we washed our faces and did just that! We walked up and down every single aisle trying on every pair of shoes, laughing so hard and in the silliest mood until almost 4:00am! It was hilarious!
The girl taking our picture probably thought we were crazy shopping at that kind of hour, let alone laughing and wanting a picture of our "treasures"!
I went outside and I saw Audrey helping Bryce sweep out the back of the truck!
It didn't surprise me though, she has ALWAYS loved Bryce!
It was fun to see Brodie's brother Blake and his wife Rachel, especially since they had a new little addition to show us! Joshua was born on June 28 and it was SO fun to hold a newborn again! (Although I didn't need any help being baby hungry!)
Alexia adored him! It melted my heart watching her with him because she would just stroke him so softly and just keep bending down and kissing his forehead. She's in the rocking chair because she told me she really wanted not only to hold him but to rock him to sleep... and that she did! (She was real proud)
My Idaho visit
All she wanted to do all morning was hold him and is now asking for a baby brother...

Those pictures were darling. Why do you always look so cute in a hat? Anyway, the Wal-Mart pictures are unreal (we were so silly) it was really fun, Dall's setting apart (So hard, but so neat), and just having you there. It was so much fun- I'm so glad you posted your pictures! There is nothing like home and being with the ones you love so much :) Love you so much Jess. LOVE KRYS
That looks like you guys had so much fun. So jealous I couldn't be there with you! It will be so fun to see you and have you here. I can't wait! Love you!
Jess -- Those pictures rip your heart out!! So happy with the silly wal-mart night (how come those times are the funnest! more than planning?) and so, so sad saying goodbye to Dallin. He is so unreal. His talk was so perfect for him because no one does a better job of going after the "one" than he does. He has made my boys and every other grandkid feel like they are so special. I bet you miss him so much already. I love pictures with Bryce. Kids all just adore him! My kids love "uncle Bryce." It was so fun to see you. You look so pretty, Jess and your girls are so sweet. Elle has talked about Alexia and asked when she will see her again! We'll have to make it happen somehow. That pretend meeting is real hurtya! Love you so much, jess.
I loved this post. Don't you just love getting silly and acting like a teenager again in the middle of the night? Looks like you had a fun Walmart experience...mine are NEVER fun. Love your cute girls and the one of you and Dallin. His farewell was awesome. I was so impressed with him and Whitney's talks. They are amazing and I am sorry too that we didn't get to chat after. I had to run out right out at the end to get back to my ward to teach Yw lesson. Sorry. Glad you got to come out to say goodbye.
wow your little bro left for his mission, how time flys that is so sad. I never had the experience but I bet that is tough. He will be great and I am sure he will be helped along the way, and you all as well :)
