Getting shocks

When Alexia had to go in to get her 5 year old shots, I tried preparing her beforehand. Apparently, Audrey had been listening and in an exasperated voice said, "Do I have to have shocks?!" It sounded so funny and the name stuck. In fact, when the doctor came in Audrey looked right at him and declared, "I don't have to have shocks today." Alexia did so well- she's always been unbelievably brave. She had to have 4- all separately and she was still smiling at us after shot number 3 trying to stay so brave.

"Sister" and "Boo" were on the table with Alexia providing her the support she needed during her check up
This was right after all of her shots- we were so proud of her! Afterwards, we took her to the disney store and she got to pick out a treasure.

Oh my gosh. I love "getting shocks". Of course your girls are brave. You were always so brave with SO many of your hardnesses (unbelievable . . . the jaw is the one coming to mind!) You are so doting. What a dream mom. Of course you got them a treasure. How blessed are they to literally have an angel for a mother? I love you and am amazed by you! LOVE YOU
p.s. when do you move?

shots are hard. Butt she looks like she is so brave, and beautiful, just like her mom.

Jess that is so funny! I can just hear Audrey's voice saying SHOCKS and can picture the look on her face- it is so cute! And of course Alexia was so brave.... SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN SO BRAVE! She really takes after you! You have always been so brave and so strong- no matter what happens! Those pictures are so cute of those little best friends comforting each other... and of course you took them to pick out a treasure! You are such an amazing mom Jess- you are so adoring of your family and make their lives a dream! I hope you're feeling okay and know that I love you and think the world of you.

I hate shots! I'm impressed how well she is doing...you as well. I have to hide in the corner. Send me your email address and I'll give you the story. I'd rather not leave it on your blog :)

Oh that little voice - shocks. I remember how scary those were to get. I still hate them. You would never not let them be brave. That is one thing, your strength is such an example and has helped me through so many things. I love that you are passing that on to your little family! I love you and miss you and hope that you are doing better! I wish I could be there right now to give you a hug and drug you with caffeine!

Jess,
I was so excited to see your comment on my blog!!! I seriously had just been thinking about our crazy days in the "dungeon'!!! The only good thing about that was that you were there with me and I got to know you so much better! Your girls are absolutely beautiful - of course!!! You are just the cutest most amazing mom!
Keep in touch!

Petey! Your kiddos are just soo darling! I'm so glad that you are going to be closer to this side of the world. Our reunion will be sooner than we think! Me and Paige had a blast reminising on old times- you know, bus rides from hell, long hours of conditioning, and chick o sticks!!
